You don't have to go to a college or university play jazz guitar! OK, if you want to be Barney Kessell or Ed Bickert  then a strong education is probably a good way to go. That being said, a lot of fun can be had with just some simple concepts of progressions, chord voicing and voice leading and canl get you on the path to playing jazz.  This class will cover some standard progressions (the ballad, rhythm changes and of course the blues) as well as an in depth look at some standard guitar chords and how they can be easily manipulated to make a far more sophisticated sounds and convincing jazz lines.  Impress your friends, Play Jazz!
